I used one facing the front and the other at the rear but inside the car. I live down in South Florida and people here drive like maniacs and if they crash into you, even at fault, they will still argue so i this little cams do the talking for me but my only problem so far with them is the picture quality. I don't know if others here just got lucky with good units or what but mines even set to 2k, the video quality is easily compared to that of 480p. I even tested the video on a 4k tv and not much better. Bright clear daylight recordings are decent but cloudy or raining days it's a different story and night time since i work a 6.am to 2.pm shift, it's a 50/50 on quality and tag reading up close. Can't obviously expect much out of a $40 dash cam so is yeah, but anyways, it still does what i need it for so they will do for now.
