After 6 months of use, the bass had blown out on them pretty badly. Anytime I am listening to something with a decent amount of bass (even someone with a deep speaking voice) then suddenly my sound is tinny and pretty awful. I don't know if it is the hours of use every day or sweat from working out (they are supposed to be sweat resistant), but it is clear to me they are reaching the end of their life.If this issue was coming up after a couple years, which is the life I got out of my original pair of base-level, cheap Shokz (back when they were called Aftershockz). But I paid nearly $200 (after tax) for these, and I'm only getting half a year out of them!? I’ve never gotten more than 4 hours. Added into this is that they don’t automatically connect, disconnect frequently from Bluetooth and have a poor range of connection. I contemplated returning them, only to realize I missed the return by day and don’t know where all the packaging is.I don’t typically leave reviews, and If I do, it’s that the thing either amazed me or disappointed me so severely, I don’t want others to repeat my mistake. So I’ll say it this way: for almost 2 months of ownership, they’ve become such a waste to me that I’ve used them maybe 10 times and have been opting to use my phone’s speaker instead.
