2024-06-29 1.0 This head set is not a bone conducting head set. My son introduced me to Aftershokz bone conduction earphones several years ago. I am loosing my hearing and I suffer from Meniere's Disease. I have not heard music in stereo for over four decades. I put his on and I cried! I could hear music like I have not been able to for so long. Then he showed me how you can put your fingers in your ears, and it amplified the music beautifully. Then he took them away from my ears and placed it on both sides of my jaw bone and it was the same. I bought my first pair then. I finally had to replace them. I paid over $180.00 and again I cried. Not because it was like before, but because these are not truly bone conduction ear phone! If you try to repeat my first introduction it is apparent these are not the same. They are not different they are just plain ear phones. If you pull them away from your ears just a tiny bit the sound goes away. If you place them on your jaw bone it makes no sound at all. I am sick, and will have to return this. The price just does not reflect the description, but in actuality it is not a bone conduction headphone. It is like an aftermarket hype trying to say it is the same as AfterShokz with is not true in the least. What am I going to do now? My son's still does it for me, but he uses it all the time. I need my own! Did I pay for this and get something else? I have been reading other review that are 5 star and really really did not get that experience. I really do not understand this at all. I have returned this one, and ordered afterShokz previous Model I so hope it works like my last! I ordered AfterShokz's Red Canyon model.
