| 2024-05-11 | 3.0 | Comfortable, secure fit but microphone quality poor | These fit comfortably and securely over the ears. I love that I can be very active without worrying about them falling off or out of my ears like an earbud would. The sound quality when listening to audio is as good as can be expected for an open air ear headphone. You can certainly hear around you so this is great for those who want to still be aware of their surroundings without having their hearing obstructed. The charging case works well and is small, durable, and the headphones fit in very nicely. The microphone quality is a bit poor. I have used these for multiple phone calls and each of the callers have commented on how far away and muffled I sounded. Once I disconnected and either used plug in headphones, the speakerphone, or just held the cell phone to my ear, the sound quality improved to normal. So, if only using these for listening, they are an excellent choice. | 2024-05-07 | 2.0 | I wanted them to work better than they do | I really wanted these to be my new daily or at least go-to headset. Sadly they are not and I don't see anyway to remedy that. The concept is great and I hope someone aces it soon. These have several flaws that cannot be ignored. They are uncomfortable, the sound is tinny and metallic, the noise cancellation is noisier than what it wants to suppress and the battery life is abysmal. Your mileage may vary. The instructions are a little confusing. Do I press the left side twice? Right side once? They made no real sense to me, so mostly I used my phone for controls. Plus they would randomly pause the music.The charging case is small, lightweight, and easy to charge with the included USB-C. I fully charged them almost two weeks ago, and there was still 100% battery when I used them again.Pros: easy to sync, easy charging, ok sound, not a lot of base (expected for this price). No slipping so I don't worry that they'll fall out.Cons: may press a little on the back of the ear after long wear (I started noticing it about 45 minutes, but I wear glasses so there may be some pressure there). Controls are really sensitive. If you barely tap it will pause/skip/turn louder (I really couldn't figure out the controls).For meetings when you're not playing with the controls frequently, they work just fine. | 2024-04-26 | 3.0 | If The Listening Environment Requires It... | If your listening environment requires that you be able to hear everything going on around you, these are the types of headphones you want. Since the driver sits on top of your ear rather than in it, the sounds of the environment are easily mixed with your music. Cycling in traffic would be a good example of this application. This design also means that the louder you are playing your source, the more those around you are going to hear it; not ideal for the library or bus. I find the sound produced by the drivers a bit on the shrill side and lacking bottom end. They work fine for listening to books or talk radio but music proved to be disappointing.The size of the earpieces is also a concern. They're very difficult to get on just right as I wear glasses and the strap wants to share space with the legs of my eyewear. Given the compactness of other earbuds, I'm not sure why these need to be so bulky. | 2024-04-22 | 2.0 | Confusing instructions | This is really targeted to a person with very tiny ears. I like the concept of this because it doesn't go inside of your years but rather sits right on the outside. I would trade off the sound quality just to have these be comfortable. In that regard I feel the product delivers. You can wear these comfortably, here your music and actually still hear conversations going around you which is nice when you have younger kids around you. However I find the instructions to manage the various options like play, pause, volume up and down and skip songs to be confusing. There are no actual buttons but you are simply happy the flat part that sits over the ear.
