They tell you to press and hold a key but don't tell you what a key is. Other directions state to control is via 'continuous and quick clicks' some say taps and some say press and hold. They don't even tell you how to turn these things off manually. I've discovered you touch theme to control but it takes more than just a touch, it's almost a touch and short hold. If you don't get the touch and hold timed correctly it's not registered and thus not counted, i.e. 1 tap is volume and 2 'taps' are to play/pause. When trying to play with 2 taps there is a long delay after 2 taps before play starts but you've already tried to tap twice again. I'm always fighting this and it takes forever to get the things to start playing after getting them out of the box. Then if you pause and take them off and don't put in the box they are still on and will take phone calls that you can't hear. Besides no directions on how to turn off you have no indicator that they are on. Very poor control designs. I'm only keeping them is due to the low price and this is really a trial to see how well I like or can handle earbuds while doing lawn work. But that takes a huge backseat to just how annoying these are to use. .y other ones were one tap to pause/play. These need 2 taps, the exact opposite of most earbuds, and it almost never works right. I use them at work and anytime someone has to talk to me I tap twice but it only registers one which makes a beep and then continues playing. Quite often I have to tell them hold on or just pull them off to hear and when you listen to podcasts that can become very annoying, having to rewind to where you were after a lengthy conversation. Just awful interface and if I have to control this with my phone then kinda defeats the purpose. Only got them because I thought I lost my other ones, the TOZO brand, then found them so I'll definitely be returning these. Just very frustrating to use. Normally I'd say the low price justifies it but there's just better options for the same price. I won't go high end because there's just too much chance of losing or ruining them for me so I stay around the $30 or under range just in case. But I'll be trying out some other ones as backups and returning these because while I want the over ear option, these are just too annoying to use. Trust me, you can do a lot better for the same price, unless you just NEED the earloops, but don't dare pay more than $25 for these. You'll regret it. It can only be charged with the Type-C cable. Also, the configuration of how the earbuds fit in the case is counter-intuitive (backwards). The earphones of the earbuds are positioned side by side in the middle of the case which makes it difficult to remove them at the same time using both hands. Once you do get them removed they are upside-down and you have to turn them over to put them on your ears. If the position of each earbud was rotated 180 it would be much less frustrating each time I use them. I have other sets of earbuds where the case IS wireless charging and the earbuds are positioned in the case for easy removal and putting on your ears. However these are no longer available on Amazon. The right bud functioned correctly 50% of the time. The other 50% it increased the volume or brought up Google Assistant. At one point I had to lower the volume using my phone because the left earbud was sketchy.The left bud did not function the play/pause feature although the pamphlet stated it would.After 10 minutes trying to get all of the features to function as described in the manual (and turning the Google assistant off three times) I gave up. When I returned the buds to their nests in the case the buds started playing my music! Inside the case!
