But yes you can re ord after you hit play to watch the live feed. There is a little 🎥 icon and it saves to your device. We do not have a SD card installed in ours so idk how that function works. The one thing I don't like is there is no way to go so a certain time and look at the video. It only records 10sec at a time. So if you have movement you can only see 10sec of that. I tested reception distance and the "Upgraded CQ1 "A" Model Camera is equal to my other two ORIGINAL CQ1 Model Camera's,! They function the same. BOTH ARE OPERATIONALLY THE SAME and IDENTICAL HOW THEY FUNCTION. OWNING BOTH, USING BOTH; I have decided and Purchased some additional ORIGINAL CQ1 CAMERA'S THAT IS BECAUSE I AM OLD SCHOOL..
