I'm an engineer and it took me 1/2 hour to figure out this programing. Apparently, all settings are entered sequentially with current date and time first, and then the first feeding amount and time and then the second feeding amount and time and then .......... | how do you set this up to feed twice a day only | 2023-01-04 | To set up the machine for twice a day feeding you have to only program 2 different times P:01 and P:02. You are able to program it for 6 feedings per day (P:01through P:06) so only pick 2 to program if that’s what you need. If you need to reduce from 3 feedings to 2, you can just switch one of the programmed times from i.e. P:03 to P:00. To help me program the machine, I looked up a manual from manufacturer’s website. Just google wopet feeder manual and pick “Frank” for this machine. It is very important to program the current time correctly. The time on the machine goes in 24 hour cycle (military time). So if you are setting up your machine at like 7PM, the time on the display should be 19:00. You have to remember that the feeding times have to follow the same. Since here in the US we don’t use European/military time, for the 5pm feeding, you time would have to be 17:00. Anyway download the manual…I couldn’t do it without it lol | Ramune S | 2023-01-04 |

Instructions are a bit wanting in how to set it up, but after some trial and error, was able to set up 2 feeding times on ours. | how do you set this up to feed twice a day only | 2023-01-04 | I finally got mine to program 2 feedings per day. It took me 2 days to figure it out. But I managed after reading every manual and watch every YouTube channel. Supposedly, the clock is programed in military time (24hrs). If you don't know how to use military time just Google it. I set mine to feed at 8am (8:00) and 8pm (20:00). Each Portion set to (P-1), since that's how much my cat can eat each meal. I only set meals 1 & 2 and left meals 3-6 all at ZERO. So now that my machine is operating at the time I need it to being at 8am & 8pm, it dispenses only portion 1 of food... BUT, give it 5secs after it dispenses another portion of food. I'm so lost and frustrated. Portion 1 is perfect for my cat. When it dispenses the 2nd time just few seconds after theres too much food and he can't eat it all leaving some in his bowl to salvage throughout the day until his next feeding. He's on a strict diet right now and shouldn't have any food in his bowl after the first portion is dispensed. I need help!! Why does it dispense a 2nd round few seconds after first portion is dispensed? I have reset and set the portions to (P-1). When I first had trial errors it didn't do that. Time the portions out without dealing with the window and fill it at intervals determined by how many servings each day. There is still many servings left even after the window is clear of food.
