I use the app on my phone, not my desktop, there is no app for the desktop that I'm aware only IOS and Android. The software is the best that I have ever seen. I bought this thinking I could use a desktop. | 2023-03-17 | I'm not sure what crippleware is but you can download the app from the app store for free and install it on any device phone/tablet/computer that uses wifi for free and it will notify you when motion is detected and starts recording and you can preview the footage and save or delete what you want all for free but if you want it to call the police you will need to sign up and pay a monthly fee. I like it but it wasn't real easy to install the software because it wanted access to your phone and I didn't want to give it but you will have to in order for it to work, and I'm not sure if it was the program having permission but now every time I turn on my phone I get bombarded with advertisements again not sure if it was that program and don't install it next to a flagpole because every time the wind blows it will record : ) good luck | Frank Morgan | 2023-03-19 |
