The package includes two separate bases, one that simply installs with one screw and allows for attachment of the camera via a very strong magnet (this one is my favorite because it allows for maneuvering the camera manually to virtually any angle. The other base plate is a fixed one and attaches to the wall via two screws (also a great way to install for durability). Both are easy to install and overall its a great camera.
