Try unplugging the outside (at the camera) power feed, and spray it with Deoxit D5 . That should cure the intermittent power "blinking "then spray the camera plug as well. The Zmodo systems I looked at were POE which means they are connected to the DVR with a CAT5 or CAT6 cable used to transfer the analog signal to the DVR.
