| How far can a camera be from the main unit to still work ? | 2021-09-25 | I have 6 cameras. one is three floors above the control unit, you have to travel about 60 feet, through two steel doors and it works. Sometimes the signal goes out for a few minutes, then it comes back. There is a way to extend the distance by combining the signal to the other camaras [ basically using the other camaras on the way as a relay antenna. But I haven't gotten around to doing it, because this works for me. I bought a control unit with four cameras. Liked it and bought two additional cameras.
