Does this require a service plan to use? | 2023-05-17 | I’ll be returning it next week. I purchased the extra plan for it. My son is coming in to get them down as I can’t get on a ladder. One month isn’t working for me on battery life as your paperwork says minimal amount of 3 months. Not pleased | Amazon Customer | 2023-05-17 |
Does this require a service plan to use? | 2023-05-17 | No, you don't have to subscribe to a service plan, but Arlo DOES make it a bit tricky to UNSUBSCRIBE to their "free trial period" service. And the free trial period can lead to a permanent arrangement, if you don't kill it. You CAN say no to the free trial though, and you can use your own flash drive to store the video from the camera, so you can use the cameras without signing onto a subscription. | Kraft's | 2023-05-17 |
Does this require a service plan to use? | 2023-05-17 | The pro 4 Arlo camera does not require a service agreement. All those cameras can hook directly to your Wi-Fi system and it will directly send any messages to your iPhone or your computer or whatever so you don’t have to. If you do get a service plan then it sends the data to the cloud and it is recorded for a 30 day time period. | Vegasbaby | 2023-05-17 |
Do you have to have a subscription? Or is it like the older units that did not require a subscription unless you had more than five cameras? | 2023-04-06 | Yes I paid 170 for that separately | Amazon Customer | 2023-05-17 |
