They wyze v3 came with a power cord and a charger, it does not use a base station. the outdoor cameras do use a base station. they can save to the base station even if the wifi goes out, but that needed fiddling, also the outdoor cameras are dradticly feature limited without the subscription... to record events, one must create a schedule every month (do it every week or 2 weeks so you don't lapse) to do the recording.. the wyzev3 can take an sd card and save to the cloud. the outdoor camv2 can take an sd card on the unit, and the base station. and it has a battery. i would only get the v2 if you need the battery in some remote location. i would use the v3 for anything connected to the house, and use a pass-thru battery bank to keep it running... as it works as expected. the pan and tilt also has nerfed functionality without a subscription, but in a different way.
