So for TAGRY bluetooths (BT, hereafter) headphones there are two ways you can efficiently turn it on. First, it automatically turns on when you take it out of its charging box, at this point if your phone or device BT needs to be turned on. If phone BT is turned on & previously synchronized with your BT then it should automatically connect. This BT is better than my galaxy bluetooth on charging side because charging have lasted more. I think it automatically turns off to save the charge when you are not using it for sometime. Second scenario, if your BT is just lying around & you need to connect it to your phone. In this case your BT may have been gone to charge saving mode, so you will have to turn on manually. You can turn it on manually by "touching & holding BT for few seconds". BT will speak the notification "turned on". You need to turn on both left & right BT manually. The best way to test your if your BT is on or off is by playing songs on your device & see if it is casting or playing thru your BT. If not repeat the process of reconnecting your BT & Phone or device and repeat the manually "turning off & turning on the BT". Sometime your phone or device may have issues, so it is a healthy practice to "turn off & turn on" your electronic devices or phone & try to reconnect your BT.
