That is NOT good and personally I would return it for a replacement unit. I haven't had that problem. even here in semi-desert, HOT, New Mexico where even we can get torrential rain 'n several feet of snow but I've yet to have any problem. I would be surprised that ANRAN would not replace unit (after some 'back-and-forth' correspondence) but if that doesn't work, maybe try some clear, tube waterproof sealant after taking it inside in a warm environment (to maybe 'force' (gently!) evaporate any trapped moisture then seal it where you see potential moisture access points.
