It’s not compatible with 5G Wi-Fi. Make sure the password you enter for your wireless connection is exactly the same that includes upper and lower case letters. As long its battery has power it'll record. With product you don't need a home base if that is what you want to connect it to. All you need is the Eufy app on you phone or iPad. When you install this unit with your the Dufy app it'll as for your routers' password and thus your router will give the device an IP address. That's it.
