When my camera is charging there is no light that stays on… but go into the cameras settings and you can watch the rate of charging from red to blue to green while your watching it… when fully charged it stays green and gives you the percentage of charge…. Hope this answers your question… 😎 |

I think it would be fine. I have mine continously plugged into a power bank, and change to a fresh bank every 5-7 days. It seems to use it's own battery first then recharges on it's own. |

I only think they will work with WansView app. They do not reveal the port it is using and the IP address will not show up on my router. Too restrictive for anything outside of WansView app. |

The rechargeable one I have you can use without a subscription, but you still have to use their phone app. I have another model camera that isn't rechargeable, but it supports rtsp which allows me to view it with other phone apps like IP Camera Viewer. |

Does not seem so. I’ve been using WansView view now for about 10 years. Newer cameras are cloud configured. I do not subscribe to cloud option. I use a dvr and a memory card with cameras. Default port is 8899. You will need this if using dvr or other viewing device besides WansView app. They work fine without Cloud option. |

Yes, you can use wansview cloud app on iPhone to watch live video.
In order to save the power usage, it will show 30s, if you want to watch it more, you can still continue to watch it.
