They have built in rules or you can customize a rule to your specific needs. You can make bulbs turn on/off automatically at sunrise/sunset. You can set a "vacation" rule that turns them on at random times. Or you can set a specific time. You can also assign 2 or more to a group. Then you can operate them independently or as a group. I use them in conjunction with Alexa for hands-free operation to turn them on/off or set a color and dim to any level from 0-100%. So, when movie time comes, I can tell Alexa to set Living Room Bulbs (a group I created of all the bulbs in the living room) to Red and Dim to 30%. I don't know about automatically changing color. Best to visit the Wyze website and check on that. There is info on YouTube. but much of it is outdated. Wyze is constantly making improvements and getting easier to use with more features. The bulbs are VERY easy to install now. That wasn't the case a few years ago. So most of the YT complaints have been fixed. ZekeTheFirst 2022-11-30

My only problem with this system is the app is much slower than other smart products in my home. This is Amazon so open the package! If it's broken or you are not happy, return it. Dimmer switches seem to cause flickering problems and are not recommended. YES you could create a group in the Wyze app that would control all 4 bulbs simultaneously or individually with your custom scheme. LED bulbs typically are longer than incandescent bulbs. So, it the bulbs are enclosed in a glass globe, you need to be sure there is enough room for the new bulbs. Yes, you can control four at the same time, you just group them together in the app. FYI I’ve had a ton of trouble with these.
