If you have a POE Switch or Poe injector you can power the camera stand alone over POE. If your Lorex uses ONVIF and is able to view 4mp then you could use on the NVR and maybe even over the normal Lorex connection type as I think it shares the same type for Amcrest cameras either way all features can work on the 1046 without being connected to a AI NVR..
