With the one I had on my computer I could But running it with my NVR I cannot. Another thing to watch with this seller is that the camera is not POE. The seller description says it is over and over as if to shove it in your face but, in the fine print at the bottom it says it is only with a compatible POE switch. I have six different brands of switches and it would not power up with any of them. So I opened mine up to see. The ethernet plug on the cam only had wire to transfer vid and sound data and none of the hardware on the computer board to even be POE. A flat out lie to sell outdated stock or the seller doesn't know what POE even means. Lucky my mounting spot for the cam was near an outlet!
