The case is a bit difficult to open only because there's no place to grab and lift the top. I have to use my nails to open it. The case fits the earbuds perfectly. The Bose noise cancellation on my set is better, but I think that is because they are the over the ear (ear muff) style and so are able to block more. On the outside where the white butterflies are printed it has a concaved feature and the button for the left and right head piece sit in the center of where it is concaved.
