Also HomeKit settings don’t offer alert on sound so no support for letting you know a smoke alarm is screaming. Under HomeKit this camera generally behaves like any other HomeKit exclusive camera. I exchanged the first unit thinking I just received a bad one. The second one I received was worse so, after about 45 mins. with Tech Supported I packed it in and spent a little more for the eve camera and it has been smooth sailing ever since. The software was not into it. I spent a good 45 mins on the phone with tech support and we managed to get the camera working a little. I exchanged for another one and had the same problem. Great tech support but in the end I spent a bit more and got the Eve. It runs very smoothly with Home Kit. Tech support is via email and takes at least 24 hours for a reply.
