They went through a lot of steps trying to tell me that it was my zones that were causing my battery drain. But I showed them another camera up and how same zones did not drain the camera. It was a lot of back and forth for a while Which was very frustrating but in the end worth it. This camera had always held a charge very well even with his own selections I had made. Until it didn't. But once I convince them of the situation and Said you've had me repeat the same things over and over again. You can see remotely, that my current cameras under the same zones and it's been up a week in the battery has not even made a dip. However the old camera dipped within a day or two with the same zones. I have proven this is a battery issue please push this to the next level for warranty reimbursement. Once I said that, they did move it forward... This was very frustrating because this was all handled through texting support thru the application done. which is very irritating. Definitely something they need to work on as far as customer service goes... Once they push it through the department that handles this, it is a stateside-based department. Communication is a little easier which they do through email. I even got a phone call when I didn't respond to the email right away.. as I didn't see it. You have a choice to pay a little bit extra and have it delivered to you with a box and label and then you can just put it in the box and send it directly back which is really the most efficient way. Or, they'll send it to you and then you have to figure out a way to get it back to them and you have to do it within a timely manner or you will be charged for the replacement price. I did by the asurion extended warranty luckily. I'm glad I did, because I have a feeling I will need them, since this one camera battery didn't even last a year. I only have one camera up at the moment, so I have two in reserve I can change out. But that is definitely the downside to it. Well they are working as they should, the battery does hold a pretty darn good charge. We also have a Arlo cordless doorbell. We tried the wired variety but had problems with that and it was past the manufacturer warranty date and I didn't buy an extended warranty. Also the way our front door is the angle was terrible and you couldn't get a good view. I like the application for it and it works with our Echo Show So you can tell your Alexa to show for example camera one, and she will pull it up on her screen. Overall I really like these cameras.
