You put the camera by the home cam base (after it is connected to wi-fi which it does pretty automatically), then press the button on top of the camera. Blue light flashes & you get a beep when synched. Do for each camera. Then take outside & mount. You should be able to pull up the camera view at that point & it will guide you thru getting a good signal for each camera. Eufy is great cameras and great app. All I can figure is that they must not know how to use the app. I love mine and would not get another brand.
