If that was happening to me, I would look around for a program that is slowing your computer down, and GET rid of it. I don't believe it's the app you just stalled. I've uploaded many programs and most of the time it's a game causing what you are describing. Just delete the app, and reinstall. If it freezes up, I believe you got issues with something else.
