The subscription is more like an iCloud service I don’t remember how much it was, but it’s not that expensive it depends on what you’re using it for. I used it to keep an eye on my mother during hospice and uploaded the app on my iPhone and iPad and viewed it from there. I'm not sure if its the pairing connection or if the cloud service I was paying for to save the clips is the problem or both.
