does it support rtsp? works with blue iris v4? 2021-11-20 When I bought this camera back in 2019, I used Blue Iris 4 and Blue Iris Tools. This camera works well with Blue Iris software products. However, Blue Iris had too many software updates interrupting image and time lapse broadcasting. I switched to IPTIMELAPSE utilizing the RTSP protocol. IPTIMELAPSE had only ONE software update so far this year (April). I am currently operating SIX of these cameras without a NVR. So, YES to RTSP protocol and BLUE IRIS. Billy Tholborn 2021-11-20

What is the compatible nvr for this camera? will a wifi router be needed or can this connect directly to the wifi on the nvr? 2021-09-12 REOLINK NVRs are recommended but the camera does support ONVIF so it should work with any compatible NVR. Connect the camera via your WiFi network. I think you'll need a router to establish a local network through which the nvr and camera can communicate, unless you are using wired connections. what is the line of sight wifi range of this camera? can it be connected to a range extender? 2021-09-17 Hello, the WiFi distance of the RLC-511W camera is 80-90 meters in an open area. However, the actual WiFi distance depends on the actual working environment and the coverage of your WiFi. You could get the camera connected to a WiFi extender for stronger WiFi signal. ReolinkDirect 2021-09-18
what is the line of sight wifi range of this camera? can it be connected to a range extender? 2021-09-17 The specifications rate it for 30 meters (100 feet). However, be aware that if you have a satellite dish and the security camera has to cross this signal to get to your wifi because of where you have the camera located it will affect your camera output(i.e will not reconnect after a power failure or camera acts erratically.) I had that problem and could not figure out what was wrong until I went to a blog and was informed of this. I had to return the cameras. Dookie 2021-09-18

The desktop app will show up to 36 simultaneously. I'm not sure, but I expect the mobile app would handle more but may only be able to display a up to four at a time in a split screen format.
