Make sure you are buying hikvision usa equipment. Ask seller if it is hikvision usa as they are the only ones allowed to sell hikvision in the usa market If bought check the serial number in California with hikvision usa. If its not theres ses it back. Hikbusionusa factory boxes have a SILVER tape seal on box. The difference is u wont get a warranty or techncal from hikvision usa. Also most other hikvision products are flashed and reprogrammed from the market. So what happens is if the camera hd a problem it defauits back to chinese And all the amazon sellers only cover a year warranty. Hikvision usa covers 3 yrs factory warranty in california. Now dealer partners with hikvision usa can give u a longer warranty So ask sellers if its a hikvision usa product. If they say English version its all nonsense as its not a usa product. Now if the camera is not close to 200 its most likey not a hikvision usa product Sellers such as procctvcameras is selling hikvision usa. And the last thing is the usa camera and the chinese hikvision cameras arw not the same.
