yomay have to go through the set up for dvr,and add some network information,but you should be able to have a live view on monitor that's connected to dvr,just start standard set up from beginning |

I'm am having the same problem. When first installed the unit worked very well. Now the camera images will flash for a second then show a blank screen with the notation "poor signal". I know that the internet connection is good and all other devices are having no problem with connection to the internet. |

Please follow up below steps to connect the DVR to internet. Please connect the router and your DVR via network cable.
1)Right click mouse—go to DVR's Main Menu > Setup > Network.
2) On the Network tab, ensure the “Obtain an IP Address Automatically” option is enabled, and that there is no information in the PPPoE fields. 3) Once you’ve ensured there is no information in the PPPoE field and that the “Obtain and IP Address Automatically” option is selected, select the “Test” option. If "OK" is displayed, the local area network is connected successfully. If the DVR is not able to connect to the internet, you will get a message that states “Cannot Connect to Network” Please check below link for your reference. https://supports.zositech.com/hc/en-us/articles/360017719491-Connect-the-DVR-to-the-internet

Please follow up below setps to set up motion detection recording.
Please go to DVR's Main Menu - Setup - Alarm - Motion Detection to enable the channel you want to set up motion detection, and edit the area for the channel.
Please go to DVR's Main Menu - Setup - Alarm - Motion - Trigger - To record to check whether you enabled the record.
dPlease go to DVR's Main Menu - Setup - Schedule - Motion to check if all channels were covered with blue. If yes, you needn't change it.
You will find a yellow icon and red man on the channel that you set up to motion detection record.
For sensitivity number, the highest sensitivity of our DVR is 1, and the 8 is the lowest.

There's a 4 way joystick on the camera, you can move the joystick to switch the ouput mode to match your DVR system.
TVI DVR: Hold camera's OSD button to right for 5 seconds
CVI DVR: Hold camera's OSD button to down for 5 seconds
AHD DVR: Hold camera's OSD button to left for 5 seconds
