Can I plug the cameras to a Poe ethernet switch 2022-11-29 Dear friend, Thank you so much for your support on our products. The Answer is yes. The reason why you need power over Ethernet switches will be obvious when comparing PoE switch vs non-PoE switch.But we don't recommend to connect in this way. If you have to connect in this way because of the inconvenience to hook multiple wires in the scenes like between two buildings, please make sure do not add more than the number of corresponding cameras(depends on your unit)into the POE switch and then attach the switch into the PoE port on the NVR. If you added more than lots of cameras on the one PoE switch and connect the switch to the PoE port on the NVR, the video stream may be delay or freeze. The description says it will automatically track human movement yet the camera does not nor is there a command. Is my unit faulty? 2023-06-20 The cameras will track movement within the current view of the camera. The camera does not physically move with the target. To my understanding, that is to keep the camera set at your preferred preset view. However, if you have set up target zones on a given camera, to trigger alerts, the camera will follow the target outside the zone you have set up, but it will still only follow it as far as the cameras current preset view.
