It is on a north facing wall otherwise I am sure it would remain charged. I installed it to a piece of hardwood so I can easily remove it to recharge fully. I am using this on an empty property with no WiFi. Make sure you have enough data traffic on your own SIM card to access the Internet properly. Using your phone, clear the PIN Code of the SIM card and activate data traffic roaming. 2. Activate the camera, press and hold the Reset button next to the power until you hear a tone. 3. Turn off the camera and insert your own SIM card while the phone is off. Restart the camera and wait for about two minutes until the camera light turns blue. 4. Use your phone to scan the QR code on the camera body and follow the steps to connect to the network. (If the blue light is not on at this time, please try to use APN to connect). 5. If you still can't connect, please contact our technical support through Ubox app. Note: SIM cards supported by this camera: Deutsche Telekom, AG, Vodafone, O2, SFR, Orange, Bouygues, TIM.
