Rechargeable batteries are slightly lower in voltage than regular dry batteries. Not all items can use rechargeable batteries. If you do decide to use them be aware how many you need. They are usually sold in packs of 4. None are cheap. Buy the batteries with their matching charger. Buy a good brand. I use both Energiser and Fuji in my other applications. Charging time needs consideration and you may find you need 2 sets. One in use and one on standby charged up. I use regular dry batteries from B&Q. They sell 2 good brands.
