Question what sim card do i need to get if the camera is in india goa |
2023-05-04 |
You will need an appropriate SIM Card for the local communications providers (you'll need to check coverage locally). It uses a Nano SIM. How much data you need to buy will depend on how busy it is - we use a 3 GB per month plan which is fine for circa 5 alerts a day. If you continually check online live, you'll burn data but checking the cloud recordings doesn't use much. Hope this helps. |

Hello. Please note that the battery for this security camera is not removable. If your battery can provide DC5V 2A power, you can charge the camera on it. However, it is not recommended to continue charging the camera via the adapter/battery bank to protect the battery. You can continue to connect the camera to the solar panel. |

Hi make sure the sim cards are suitable for cctv cameras I use Vodafone smart sims which are only £4 a month each sim,and have 7 going at all times. These sims are now not easy to get for some reason which is a shame ive just paid £30 on line for one but once going registered are really good.Mostly any problems with cameras are to do with the sim not getting signal etc...or not set up for cctv cameras. |

I would suspect that due to the size of a horse and the confines of a stable you will struggle to omit the horse setting off the camera. If the camera is outside the stable pointing at the door you will be able to omit the top half of the door in case the horse pokes its head out and the camera would then get triggered if anyone comes near the stable. |

2023-01-11 |
Not sure what you mean by ‘not work solo’. If you don’t need/can’t use a solar panel why pay for it. I have found that at this time of year, where our camera is placed, the solar panel does not keep it charged enough. We overcome this by taking a power bank with us and giving it an extra boost when needed. This is not necessary in summer as it stays on 100% charge. I imagine that you could use the camera without the solar panel but not certain as I have never tried this. |

Wipe the camera or wait for the weather to dry it as it would on a car windscreen. Nature will always take control over technology, just go with the flow. Ice is worse than rain but as in nature it will go. Freezing fog is awful but as before it will go. Accept the elements! |
