Sllers previous answers are conficting | 2023-06-07 | Hi, ours seems to be completely waterproof - although we haven't opened it up as we haven't had cause to, so I suppose that answers the question! On a separate note - the camera itself is excellent, but the software, in my opinion, totally lets it down. There is no speed up facility meaning you have to watch it in real time while traveling through. I have the detection set to Humanoid and on 1 which is the least amount, it picks up my solar flame lights, bushes moving in the wind and it also 0icks up rain, meaning it is recording the majority of the time. This morning I decided to do a default reset thinking that it would make it so that I had their recommended factory settings for movement etc. Big mistake, it has taken the camera off line and I cannot get it back on, we are going to have to get up the ladders to do a reset on the actual unit, if that doesn't work we are going to have to take it down and completely reinstall it, which in itself is an arduous process. So, to sum up: would I buy it again? Definitely not if I could find something comparable! As I said the camera itself is brilliant, the software is definitely not user friendly. I have tapo devices in the garden and side passage, they are excellent but unfortunately they didn't do a plugin wifi outside camera that tracks movement. Hope that helps. | !JJ! | 2023-06-08 |
