Hello. Please note that if you set up the recording schedule for the camera only, it will record video to the sd card only. If you prefer a screenshot as well, you can also set up the timelapse via the Reolink app on your phone. If you mean you can't use the manual capture function via the Reolink app, please check the permission for the Reolink app on your phone. Once configured it will connect automatically. You configure the camera by using the phone Application and scanning the QR code (or use a computer and application and ethernet cable) to add the Wi-Fi details. |

If you are using the mobile Reolink app, go to the Settings for the camera, then Camera Recording, then Schedule, then Timer. There you can select a day, and then select the time throughout the day it will record.
Obviously the size of your SD card will determine how much video it can actually record. |

Sadly not. I wanted to do the same thing. The camera has a twist and lock feature to clip it onto the bracket. There’s no provision for mounting onto the underside of ceiling. Shame because it’s a really great Canera with a lot of nice features. |

Try changing the object size setting rather than the sensitivity. I’ve never known one of these cameras to trigger on just rain alone, but I found they are particularly sensitive and trigger an alert regularly. |

There isn't a way of doing this. It's a common issue with all movement detection cameras especially when operating under nighttime InfraRed..
Mine turns the white floodlight on when it starts raining.
I have a much more expensive "professional" camera as well and that exhibits exactly the same problem.
Doesn't trigger the Human or Car recognition though. |

There is no real answer to this other than set the sensitivity to 50% and delay to 2-3 seconds. As I understand it, Reolink are working on a proper fix for this problem. |

As it is new I would suggest you request a return/replacement, I have three of these cameras and even in the worst weather conditions we have never had that issue and as it is internal it would appear to be a fault and you would invalidate the warranty if you opened the camera to clean it |

Depends upon a number of factors. It’ll detect within the visible range, which can be many metres, but it’s effectiveness is affected by size and type of object, light conditions, camera settings etc. It detects any motion which isn’t limited to cars or people.
