Essentially yes even if some days are without sun there is still a residual charge in the battery to keep the battery at full charge.
After six months use my battery is still at full charge most possibly because my solar panel is located on a south facing wall to gain full sun when available |

Hi,
If by 'wipe clean' you maen remove it and erase all data to make space for fresg video, the answer is "never". If over-writes the oldest video with the newest.
if you aer thinking of removing dust or similar, then again the answer should be never as the SD card is in a sealed area - juest be sure you close it properly after installing the card. |

1- it automatically records over old footage. I think mine is 16gb and it keeps about 4 days of video before it records over.
2-i originally used a larger card but had issues.
3- it seems picky over SD cards that work well, my old cards would record for a few days then they stopped working, and the only answer was to pop it out and in again. After 3 months of going up ladders once a week, I was on the verge of ripping it off the wall. However, now it's working I am happy with it.
3- I have bought an additional camera now it works, but I won't mount it until I get it working for at least a week indoors to ensure I have a SD card that it likes.

Never, once its fitted up there you do not need to touch it, you can control it completely from your phone, the recordings just roll over, you can download and save to your phone also, hope this helps. |

Unless you physically want to re format the card on a PC you don't need to, it can be done remotely through the CamHi app on your phone. |

There is a poe insert to allow direct router connection but also standard Wi-Fi connection. If your looking at power supply the one I got was with a mains plug.

The electrical cord on this camera is only about 2ft long therefore if you don't have an extension lead for you WiFi then it has to be right next to it, tried to do it wirelessly but it wouldn't stay connected, other than that, great little camera. |

Unfortunately, this answer cannot be given by anyone else as it depends how strong your signal is, and what walls etc are in the way.
I can tell you mine worked approx 5 m away from my router, but doesn't nean you will get the same.
Maybe check with an app on your phone/tablet and see if there is good wifi where you want to install the camera? |

This will depend on your wifi and the distance the modem can send the wifi signal. I had my e-geek camera 20 to 25 meteres on a tree outside away from the modem and had an excellent signal. I had no obstacles in the way only a roof as i had my modem in the loft. Walls and other obstacles can interfere with the signal |

This will surely depend on the strength of your WiFi signal which will be affected by the materials of objects and structures between the camera and your WiFi router.
My own experience is that a distance of only 20 feet and through one typical brick wall of a house is about the limit to get a strong enough signal for the camera to work reasonably well.
It is theoretically possible to add wifi boosters to relay the signal over longer distances but I, personally, have never had much success doing this with other products, although I have not bothered trying it with my wifi camera. I’ve kept the distance as short as possible.

Im not too sure which outside socket box you have but if i remember correctly it is slightly too big for mine and ive move mine around so it has older camera plug that does fit.
Ask them for the dimensions of the plug socket and a photograph. |

Hi there, it's a tough one to answer as you haven't said how big your socket box is!
The mains-to-USB adaptor is relatively tall and long, (exact opposite of a standard 3 pin UK plug) so I think you would need a big socket box.

My camera died two days ago up less than 12 months. I use iegeek cameras but this one was poor. Avoid 360 and stick with stationary camera. I had sd card fail in camera also. I bought trusted and reliable SD card brand. This camera turns to wall too much in fog and rain or locks into moving Bush or tree. Not for an area where you have a lot of traffic passing or shrubbery that moves in wind. |

Same way you’d connect a new phone/tablet/laptop to a router by using WPS or typing in the WiFi password. It uses the 2.4GHz WiFi, so as long as you have the password handy it’ll be fine.
Best way is to power the camera on near your router and connect via an Ethernet cable first. Then program the camera’s WiFi settings, then disconnect Ethernet cable and check it works. You can then power it off and re-locate it to where you want It to work - power it back on to ensure it is within WiFi range BEFORE screwing it to the wall etc. |

Short anser yes, as long as the are on the same ethernet network.
Slightly longer answer: Assuming you have some kind of router (eg BT Home Hub) that everything is connected to, the connection itself doesn't matter. The phone and the camera do not connect directly to each other, they both into the network, by wireless or cable, so can see each other (and connect.

I can't actually say in measurements but to give u an idea I can see everything from right outside my house to right across the road at all my houses opposite and to move left or right gives me the same viewing re wi fi distance is the same as above you get a very clear view if all your surroundings even if you move it up and down left or right or centre we are very pleased with it hope this helps |

Theotion sense range is brilliant, i have mine on just 3 and it picks up people, traffic 20 metres away. My router is approximately 7 metres away and it works fine from that didtance |

This camera has the option to setup motion detection, even plan the area you wish to cover, mine picks up squirrels so I had to turn down the sensor strength, all done via the phone, picture is sharp and would recommend getting the solar panel to keep it charged up, hope this helped. |

Provided you have a suitable position for the solar panel you will not need a permanent supply which is possibly not good for the lithium battery.
My own cctv has ran for 5 months after installation and is still providing a full charge from the solar panel |

Interestingly enough I did not get mine to work either. I’ve tried using the PC to configure it and it seems to have a mind of its own. Best I could hope for is to constantly angle the camera in such a way as to only see the area I’m interested in. |

The aerials can be rotated but the top of the camera gets in the way. I just leave mine the the up position and I don't have any problems. |

No. But it does have a useful Ethernet connector so you can make a direct connection to your router. Ethernet cables of any length are easily available. I’ve found this gives a far better connection than relying on Wi-Fi. |
