Can camera turn from side to side or up and down from app |
2021-10-13 |
No these are fixed cameras they do however have a wide angle view when in 4K resolution. You would need the PTZ (Pan, Tilt, Zoom) Camera to be able to control it via the App. |

These are fixed cameras. You can physically move left/right and up/down them but you can't remote control them like a ptz (pan, tilt, zoom). |

Hi, sorry to tell that RLC-820A doesn't support pan and tilt function. You could reconsider Reolink battery-powered camera Argus PT https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07SV5RGMF, or Reolink WiFi camera E1 Outdoor https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B099F2LGSB, they both support to pan and tilt. |

No. These cameras are static and do not move. If you want to move your camera remotely via app, then you need to buy a PTZ camera.
Hope this helps :) |

I have purchased both. No difference in quality, still 4k and same compression of H265. |

Will this work with nvr rln8 410 e with hardware h3mb16 |

I dont see why not, that NVR can do PoE and supports both h264 and h265 codecs. |

Can the Ethernet be plugged into a power link |
2022-08-24 |
Yes but you still need to provide power to the Camera. This can be done by using a power injector , or changing your Powerlink adapter to one that’s supports POE. |

Can the Ethernet be plugged into a power link |
2022-08-24 |
Not sure what you meant by power link, but its does support PoE, so a certified PoE switch or PoE injector will work. I'd recommend getting a 100mbit (the cameras are only 100meg so no point getting a gigabit one if these are just for the cameras) 4/8 ports (depending on needs) PoE switch, they only cost about 30 or so, something like this:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/TP-Link-TL-SF1005P-Ethernet-Configuration-Required/dp/B076982FVC/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=tp+link+poe+switch&qid=1661347381&sprefix=tp+link+poe%2Caps%2C64&sr=8-3
Then the cameras directly connect to the switch with only the one cable.
If you don't want to use PoE, then you'll need to use 2 separate cables, one ethernet (data) and a separate 12v 2 core (negative and positive) cable (power) along with the corresponding 12v power supply for each camera.
DO NOT USE BOTH AT THE SAME TIME
PoE = Power over Ethernet

if you mean "Powerline" adapter then yes but you will have to power the camera end with 12 V |

2022-08-24 |
Hello. You could power this Reolink 4K Camera with a DC12V adapter and connect it to the router via the ethernet cable. Or you could plug the camera into NVR/Switch/injector's POE port via an ethernet cable, then the camera can be powered and access the network as long as the POE NVR/Switch/injector is connected to the router. |

Why is there spare optional power leads on the cameras, what are they for |
2021-12-16 |
You can choose to use Power over Ethernet (PoE) or you can use a DC adapter. The third bit is a reset button. |

2021-12-16 |
Hi. Let me explain. This camera is POE camera that it can support both DC12V power supply and PoE power supply. One is POE powered and one is DC powered. So there is spare optional power leads on the cameras |
