| Can someone tell me what happens when the battery will no longer charge, Would i need to purchase another camera. | 2022-07-19 | I had issues with 2 of these cameras, on connecting the charger the led flashed in error. I think from memory it was green/amber alterations. I assumed this to be a battery fault so I disassembled one camera with the thought to transfer the battery pack. Both cameras were wet inside and this damaged the battery pack circuit board at least. Green residue visible on the board that holds the usb socket. Water gets in via a tiny breathing hole under the silicone battery cap. The battery on this camera is a self contained module and easily transferable if you are handy with a small cross point screw driver. Access starts by removing the base cap via a single screw, then drop down the oval panel surrounding switch. Pull out the black camera face carefully and unclip the power wires. Be careful not to snap the antenna wire. The battery module has further screws of its own to release it. Dead easy. The actual cells are standard and available from the web. You will need a soldering iron. I didn’t need to go this far having spares accessible. I guess Reolink could help here if you asked for a replacement battery module.
