These “security” cameras are intended to capture video of human movements not small animals. You can try adjusting the sensitivity (wind moving branches always set mine off), increase recording time, or watch live. But these are work arounds security features. Is it broken? | 2023-05-03 | We had the same problem with one of our camera’s, was working ok took it down to recharge and it stopped working though it took a full charge, contacted the supplier and they said to press down the power button for 5 seconds to reboot it, try repeatedly if that fails hold the switch button for 20seconds then release it, place in doors for an hour if inclement weather, last resort reboot it with the main power supply attached check no visible signs of rust or cracks, if you have no success probably faulty, we had to replace our one.
