The one in Spain runs on a power lead and telephone adaptor from near plug power point. The one in france has two solar panels, one facing north the other facing south plus a Y lead connector. I also fitted two panels with a y connector to ensure the batteries are charged with sun at the front and back of house, especially useful when weather is poor or raining.
