How waterproof are these if the camera is pointed upwards all the time, please? 2022-02-08 Hi the base of the camera is not connected to the camera it self so you can swivel it around so it should be waterproof no matter which way you put it as the cable comes out the back of the camera in a watertight grommet having said that if you have a point in upright right you’re gonna have water laying on the lens neck cause issues and if it gets over a inch of water in the base it could cause problems. I mounted mine under the gutter and under the Soffit board and they have been up years not a single problem. If you mount them as they recommend there won’t be a problem. Russell 2022-02-08

Can you plug these directly into your router please? I have other reolink cameras and have never needed one before. 2021-11-14 You can plug this camera in to a router but will need to provide power from a separate power supply.
