But the best part of this camera is that it can send you instant notifications in case if any motion or humans detected within the surveillance area and this won't be possible without Internet. Also you need WiFi connection to be able to see the pictures and videos using the CloudEdge on your smartphone. In your case it would be best to install DVR cameras + standalone recorder.
