The camera is an area where I can't reach during the months of November, December and January so in order to keep the camera up and running I installed a 100-watt solar panel to a 12-volt battery, then an adapter to reduce the voltage to 5-volts and connected directly into the camera. Two weeks later and my system works perfectly. I'm considering a second camera but not sure I will buy a Reolink. A friend of mine has a similar camera and solar panel which is working much better at holding it's chare and recharging, that I think is because the batteries are part of the solar panel and not inside the camera, so far this person has it's camera in the same area as mine and no problem with power, it goes down and right back up to 90-100% charge on a sunny day. | Rene | 2022-12-20 |
