I will say the E1 Outdoor is an OK Camera you can play with the detection & tracking parameters, but it lack in night vision & spotlight distance compared to their fixed cameras, so I find if I light the area with IR illuminating flood lights the camera has much better night vision distance (something I do anyway to stop the spiders spinning their webs across my cameras every night in the summer months) I mount the IR illumination next to the camera flooding the area I want lit, then I turn off the IR in the camera. | Roger Foster | 2023-03-31 |

On the ones I have at the back of my house I keep the microphone off as it isn`t required, but keep the security light on automatic. On the front of the house and at the entrance which is much busier, I don`t have the security light system on, but keep the microphone on for obvious reasons. The auto movement is not used in any location as I have too much traffic at the front of my house and the 2 cameras I have there are sufficient without this feature.
