I am in constant back and forth with this company over many software issues. The cameras seem to work great at first but then all 10 of mine stopped recording events, there is no playback option, and large amounts of video not being recorded. They told me today, that there was only a 30 day return policy even though they admitted the problem is software related. When installed the camera only gives you the view you setup during installation. There is no motors to turn or tilt the camera for the ability to follow a item or subject. One good feature of this camera is the wide angle of view. I have mounted the camera location above my garage door in the center of the door above it. The view range gives me a view of my full drive way and to the left, into my neighbour’s driveway and to the right I can see the intersection and street (I live on a corner lot). The range of view is huge. Also the zoom feature works very well to pinpoint what you would like to zoom in on in the range of view. The sound and clarity of the picture are very good, plus you can turn on a built in LED light to illuminate the area if you do not have a light for the area being monitored.
