The only thing Reolink doesn't state is how much time is stored on SD based on SD capacity. I have NVR, and never used the SD card option. I also use Sighthound which has better detection of objects than the Reolink App. If you have an alert setup, you will be able to view the stream on the SD card covering ample time on either side of the event. | This camera the night vision is in color or just black and withe thanks | 2023-04-24 | not sure about the E1 Pro, but the E1 Outdoor as well as other newer Reolink fixed position cameras have limited color night vision, what they have is built in spot lights that can be set to come on by detection of movement & they stay on for around 7 minutes, like wise you can manually turn the spotlights on but they don't stay on they go off automatically after 7 minutes forcing it back into Black & white. personally I find the E1 Outdoor limited in night vision & even more limited in color night vision distance compared to the RLC811A which can color night vision illuminate nicely about 80 ft, but neither have a way that I have found to set it up to remain in color night vision from dusk to dawn, they only stay in color night vision mode for about 7 minutes from detection or manual turn on of the spot lights. the E1 Pro may be different as it is a newer model, thus the question to ask Reolink service tech is "does the camera have the ability to be set up for dusk to dawn color night vision" as oppose to just limited color night vision only on detection of movement? | Roger Foster | 2023-04-25 |
