JUNK!!! Battery lasts about 3 months then you throw the whole $200.00 in the trash!!! The battery is not replaceable!!! Even though the chargers work great, all of a sudden NOTHING!!! Without notice, the whole unit goes dead and won't charge. If I knew the battery wasn't replaceable, I would not have purchased this pile of junk. |

Without notice, the whole unit went dead and won't charge. If I knew the battery wasn't replaceable, I would not have purchased this. The upside is the camera and all the features work GREAT!!! I contacted Eufy directly and without question they sent me a replacement camera. I am curious if the battery problem arises again or if I just got a defective unit. Great customer service. |

This is a very nice camera. Picture quality is excellent and the tracking is great. Problem is, the solar panel just cannot keep up and I actually have to turn the camera OFF so the solar panel can catch up! So what is the point of having this camera then? Mind you, I live in the Southern California desert and I get PLENTY of sunlight. The cam is facing south so it gets plenty of sun. I had to turn off vehicle detection to give it less to have to do! I also have the wired version of this cam in the backyard and it is great! I cannot put the wired version in the front of my house (wished I could) because our HOA won't allow floodlights in the front. It also keeps recording at night when nothing is there. If you put this in a place that gets plenty of sun but hardly any action, as in a side yard or storage shed area, it would probably work fine. But for serious work, NO! I cannot recommend! |
I have the solar version of this cam that I cannot recommend because the solar panel cannot keep up - this wired version is the way to go. |
