The original version is actually fairly reliable. The Eufy Security Floodlight Camera E340 (wired, with 360° Pan and Tilt) leave a lot to be desired, tho. Starting with the motion sensors, they are so inconsistent, I rely more on the neighbor's floodlights to come on! The camera tracking is pretty bad, too. The camera is often pointing at a ghost, where any actual movement of people is half off the screen. The cameras also take a long time to load in the app, fails to connect, crashes the app - all the time!One more thing - the Eufy app is a UX disaster! Viewing video footage is inconvenient, as there is no way to scrub the playhead, which is just frustrating, considering, I don't know... modernity!Of all these DYI security camera platforms, the original Nest app, paired up with their wired cameras and cloud service, was the best. I still have one running outdoors, 6 years in! The ease of scrolling the playhead, and the endless streaming capture made the product extremely usable.
