This camera is probably best for residential use. On a busy city street, it loses its charge in two days even with direct sun. We’ve adjusted the setting to the least power usage but it still drains the battery quicker than it can charge. Our return date expired, 30 days. Sigh. It took us too long for figure out that our street is too busy for the camera to keep up. It has great clarity and 360 degree views. |

Easy set up, just need a sunny zone. Connects fast and consistently. Remarkable viewing radius and camera control. Night vision and night light are great. Bought three and use them in the backyard to monitor our puppy who sometimes likes to dig. My first negative is the tracking software, which is limited to humans and sometimes windy events. The dog doesn't trigger the cameras to track her movements. Second small issue is with the app. The enlarge screen button and pan/tilt and zoom buttons are too small or cumbersome. A better integration that makes the task easier would make these cameras perfect.Update March 01, 2024: Had to drastically lower rating since the cameras have become unstable and constantly disconnect/reconnect. The solar charging is excellent, but who cares when the cameras won’t stay on for more than a minute before disconnecting. This problem seemed to develop over time and hard resets and down-scaling video resolutions worked briefly, but problem persists to the point of being unreliable and annoying. I have a high speed connection and Eero mesh, other connected cameras work flawlessly. Hoped that over the air updates might resolve the problem, but still waiting. Disappointed that I have to waste my time trying to resolve this issue. If there are any suggestions, pls feel free to share. |

Seems that an update resolved the issue of disconnecting repeatedly. Now that this issue has been fixed, I recommend this camera. The solar charging is top notch, too! |
