First, the camera designs the battery holder poorly so the batteries don't stay in place and causes the camera to turn off. This is genius because this creates the need for you to spend $50 for the rechargeable LIT-22 battery. Once you do that, the battery will rust the inside of your camera, destroying any chance for you to get pictures. Then you will spend a couple hours with customer service arguing that it is the battery causing the issue and not the memory card. They will reluctantly send a replacement camera only for you to find out the battery does not work either after rusting. Then you will spend another hour or two arguing with customer service again before you realize this is a huge waste of money and time and you should invest in a different brand. We set the cameras up to monitor our property and with these cameras you have to subscribe to a plan to receive photos. We found that the camera would rarely snap photos of animals or movement on the property and when we got close to our plan’s monthly renewal time we noticed that our cameras would be snapping multiple photos at a time sometimes even up to 50 photos with nothing interesting in the photos but that would use up our photo allotment making us feel pressured to upgrade the plan to keep receiving photos. We tried to contact customer support twice because not only would the cameras randomly send multiple photos, it completely stopped taking photos. Customer service had me check the batteries and go through pointless trouble shooting only to be told it may be the battery case but wanted me to video tape myself going through the troubleshooting steps to send to them to be sure I was going through the steps correctly. Why would I do that?! Unfortunately, I do not recommend Spypoint and wished I could have returned these cameras for a full refund but that was not able to happen.
